ผู้ป่วยชาย อายุ 16 ปี
CC: F/U อาการ asthma ตามนัด
PI: ผู้ป่วยชาย อายุ 16 ปี ได้รับการวินิจฉัยว่าเป็น mild persistent asthma มา 7 ปี มีอาการหายใจลำบาก สังเกตว่า จะมีอาการเมื่ออยู่ในสถานที่ที่มีฝุ่นมาก ได้รับยา Salbutalmol พ่นเวลามีอาการมาตลอด หลังจากนั้นไม่ได้มาพบแพทย์อีก
4 เดือน PTA ผู้ป่วยมีอาการมากขึ้นและต้องการทราบว่า ตนเองแพ้อะไร จึงมาพบแพทย์ที่โรงพยาบาล ผู้ป่วยได้ทำ skin test พบว่า แพ้เกสรดอกไม้ และ ไรฝุ่น ผู้ป่วยจึงได้รับยา budesonide (500microgram/dose) และได้ใช้ยาต่อเนื่อง แพทย์ได้นัด follow up ทุก 3 เดือน ปัจจุบันมีอาการเพียง นานๆ ครั้ง
PH: No food and drug allergy
No family history of asthma
PE: GA- A Thai male good consciousness, look fine, well cooperate
HEENT- No icteric sclera, not pale conjunctiva
Heart- Normal S1 S2 , No murmur
Lung- Clear both lung, no wheezing
Abdomen- Soft, not tender, no guarding, normoactive bowel sound

Patient: 16 yr old mild persistent asthmatic patient
Intervention: Budesonide
Comparison: Budesonide combine drug
Outcome: asthmatic control
Question: เนื่องจาก โดยปกติจะใช้ budesonide ร่วมกับ combine drug คือ formoterol ในการ control asthma แต่ใน case นี้ แพทย์ได้ให้เพียง budesonide จึงสงสัยว่า การให้ budesonide เพียงตัวเดียว สามารถที่จะควบคุมให้ไม่มีอาการในแต่ละวัน แตกต่างจาก budesonide combine drug หรือไม่
